Book three in the Cadence of Grace series, this book was easy to follow, even though I hadn’t read either of the books that came before it. There is drama, heartache, love, and people who have some very hard choices to make. This is one of those books that gives you the feeling like you’re really “part” of what’s happening, especially as you’re watching the different emotions play out, and I think that’s a true gift when authors allow you to be in the story, not just on the sidelines of it.
While I do feel like much of the book was pretty predictable, it did also include sections that were completely unexpected. I’m sure you’d love to have me share them, but I don’t want to ruin it for anyone else! Let’s just say that even in the midst of a story that may seem to be familiar in many ways, you will still be surprised by a few things. Don’t worry though – they’re all good surprises!
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher, in exchange for my honest review. The thoughts and opinions expressed here are completely my own.
